Papa Gino's - East Providence

This is the best Papa Gino's I've been to! The staff is fantastic, and the general manager is super friendly and extremely helpful. I really love this location!

They offer one of the best steak and cheese sandwiches I've ever had. The pizza remains just as delicious as ever, which is definitely a plus. I'm a big fan of their pepperoni pizza. I always enjoy my meals there!

They no longer accommodate their cash-only customers, which is frustrating. I had to wait 45 minutes just to pick up my order, and during that time, they lost power while waiting for someone higher up to help. My food ended up stuck in the oven. All I suggested was that they should notify customers who were waiting—there were over ten orders, including mine—so we wouldn't have to make the trip only to be let down. The girl I spoke to said the phones were down. I completely understand that, especially since my food was stuck, but I asked if they didn't have a cell phone to use. She replied that she didn’t want to give out her number to customers! I couldn’t believe it; I thought, "What generation are you from?" You can always block your number. In the end, she walked away without resolving anything or even apologizing. I was left with four hungry kids at home. This location has completely lost its value for me.

I haven't had a Papa Gino's pizza in nearly 40 years, and while that certainly shows my age, I can confidently say that the pizza is just as delicious as it was back then. I'm completely satisfied!

The pizza was decent, but for an extra-large size, it was quite small and not worth the price at all.
