Unfortunately they don't make the bagels on premises. You can wait 15 minutes or more to find out that ran out of what you wanted. There is no point of waiting because they don't really know when a new shipment gets driven over.
I've been going to Goldberg's for 2 decades+ and was tempted to give them a second star for how good they used to be and for their new gf/vg variety but this recent experience was just so bad, I couldn't do it.Service:Awful, we were the only people ordering when we got there, they prepared my two sandwiches, then they let them sit for about 15 minutes, done, while making sandwiches for other people who came in and checking them all out instead of my two sandwiches, as I stood there by the checkout waiting to pay. Finally got one of their attentions to pay, not sure how long I would have waited otherwise.Food:Got two sandwiches.Gluten free everything bagel with plain vegan cream cheese and lox this was awful, sadly. Bagel was so hard it hurt my teeth and gums to eat every bite. Scrapping the bagel was the smart option here.2nd sandwich: Gluten free plain with bacon and egg. I was able to eat the bagel on this, it was soggy and not too warm anymore. A double disappointment. Edible at least.$28+ later for 2 sandwiches and I'm still hungry, awesomeeee.Pic included. My 2 sandwiches are there with my friend's other 2.
Bagel spot in the Hamptons.Fresh bagels.Great breakfast sandwiches. Bacon, egg and cheese on a roll, anyone?
Best bagels around, I drive past 2 bagel places to get theirs. I see negative comments about them not answering the phone, but as someone who worked at a deli for 5 years I totally understand. You take care of the customers who show up at the store before the ones who want to call in. The employees are very nice too!
