Los Potros - East Ridge

I love eating lunch here. They have so many options and some really good lunch specials for reasonable prices. The free chips are always fresh, and their salsa is a perfect spice level, in my opinion. I am not exaggerating when I say that I would absolutely eat here any day.

Not good. I would not stop here for Mexican food. The food is so so ... service is fair .... atmosphere is bad .... prices are outrageous. It once was a good restaurant, but somebody got greedy. The service is bad. The food is not good. Go elsewhere. I will never go back.

According to their menu you can substitute white cheese for red sauce for a 1.00 extra. I ordered steak salad, chicken fajitas, fried ice cream and I asked for a cup of white cheese on the side. No chips just cheese dip only. Steak taco salad is 13.99. Chicken Fajitas is 14.99. Fried ice-cream is 4.99 and white cheese is 4.99. My order was 45.00 total which is ok except I got the chips and red dip instead. When I got to register I questioned him about the cheese dip and he assured me it was there. I get home and no cheese dip. I called them and the server tells me you can't exchange the red sauce for the white cheese. My question is why did he assure me that my white dip was in the bag at the restaurant and then explain to me on the phone that white cheese is not allowed for substitution when it is. I'm not happy about the service and the food is overcooked with brown lettuce on my salad. I'm so disappointed.

I think best staff you can come across in a restaurant. The guys are always there for their customers.

What?!!! I love this place!!! The chimichaunga sampler! The wings! Fajitas!!! Nachos! This place can hold it's own with any place in town!
