Contribuisci feedbackI attended Topgolf for the first time ever last night as part of a group party reservation. I am very health conscious and I carry fresh spring water, which I retrieve by hand at a local spring, with me where ever I go. Until this incident, I have never had an issue with bringing it to any public or private venue. Immediately upon crossing the threshold at your establishment, I was not welcomed, asked if it was my first visit, or made to feel otherwise in a friendly atmosphere. Literally the first thing I was told was, I 'm sorry, but we have a no outside food or beverage policy so you will have to take that back to your vehicle. I clearly stated to your staff member that I had water. Perhaps the news would have been easier to receive had I been greeted warmly first and made to feel welcome. But the customer service skills were COMPLETELY lacking. I do not drink other beverages traditionally served at a restaraunt, and all water is NOT equal--tap, bottled, filtered, or otherwise. I was unable to drink ANYTHING for the duration of the evening. I would have left as soon as I was told at the door that my water would not be permitted, but our party host had already made reservations for us that included catering. I did not experience a friendly, fun, and safe environment, as your website states is your mission. I was denied what I consider to be a basic necessity for me and it ruined my experience. Please realize that there are others like me, and consider all of us in your future policy formations. Edited to Add, I have already contacted your support team via your online form and they are passing along my feedback to the appropriate departments.
Let's break it down....I recently visited TopGolf for the first time was pleasantly surprised how much it was enjoyed. I can only comment negatively on 2 things, first, the need of more fans during the summer months, it was scorching hot the day I went we were towards the end, one operating fan blowing our way with a tiny newborn generally sweat producing family....it was rough. Second negative thing...the non booking website which I go into more further down. We were impressed with the venue, the set up, the design of the overall atmosphere...very nice. The waiters...could not have been more on top of things, the food was fingerfoods delicious the activity ease of use...top notch. Don't even have to bend down for balls, a wave of your putter wah lah....a ball. I tried to book a company visit but the website just runs you in circles, although it states you can book an event...you CAN NOT. All you can do is fill out a forn for an employee to get in touch with you, nothing can be booked solid. That's seriously frustrating I'm sure for everyone hoping to book a bay or event. Not everyone needs an event planner, just need a specific number of bays, on a date, whether that date can be booked, that's all but not happening that easy. They need to correct this, if they did, all star review coming up. Overall, weather being more manageable this would get a 10+, more fans would've sealed a top score but definitely a must visit, fall spring would be ideal. Happy hitting!!!
The worst server came to our bay today. She was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. She seemed bothered when we entered our names and was criticizing without offering any solutions. I understand the serving standards are low these days but wow is all I can say. Paid for two hours of play to be annoyed and ended up leaving early. We did ask for a different server and the guy who replaced her was great. I won’t be going there again or at least for a while. In the meantime topgolf please offer some training to those who in the service industry.
