Really a dying breed of pubs! it is a lot to a regular for us and alway amazing with a great selection of things on the menu with locally produced products as well as some beautiful vegi and vegan options. great gins, lemons and guest...sales! friendly staff and dog friendly too. too big parties or couples.
This spacious village pub is extremely welcoming to dogs. They offer a wide variety of beers, spirits, and wines. Unfortunately, pubs like this are becoming rare. I have dined here several times and have always left satisfied.
This lovely pub is located in a picturesque village. I visited after a long walk and enjoyed dining outside. Our meals were plentiful, reasonably priced, and delicious. There are not many good dining options in the area, so we were very pleased with the charming atmosphere and our lunch.
Visited with the family, barmaid friendly. Ordered quickly as the kitchen was closing, big mistake as should have looked around first flies and sticky tables. We all ordered paninis, after half an hour they came out, and were lukewarm and the rolls seemed uncooked.. not toasted at all. Chips were half cooked. Daughter ordered a hot pork (warmed in the microwave) panini which was dry, it looked and smelt like dog food. I wish someone would have come to ask us how our food was at the time. Should have sent it back in hindsight.
