Cafe Velo - East Riding of Yorkshire

The best cafe we found in 400 miles cycling from Devon to Yorkshire. We were made to feel really welcome, the coffee was good and strong, the breakfast was amazing and the cake portions were very generous. The owner was very chatty and helpful with recommendations for the local area. I wish we were local so we could come back!

Googled this before we went as like independent coffee shops and it was a lovely cafe worth calling in the coffee was good standard and the food looked really nice that I observed. Nice staff and pleasant cafe

This was my second visit to cafe velo. I came back because I enjoyed it so much the first time. Really lovely, friendly staff and fast service. Coffee was AMAZING. Just had a slice of cake with it this time. Nabbed the sofa in the window and it was so comfy, I wasn't sure that I'd be able to get out again. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Beverley.

Lovely food, you can tell the produce isn't shop bought. We will always return there. Cater for toddlers with high chairs, they allow dogs in. There is also lots of seating downstairs. It's a cycle cafe as they have bike racks there are always avid cyclists visiting. It's a nice atmosphere.

We only had coffee, so I can't comment on the food but it was the worst coffee we've had for many years, very weak and couldn't even taste it. It's a shame because the atmosphere was nice and it's dog friendly.
