Good and varied menu. Food was excellent quality, well cooked and served by polite friendly staff. Good choice of local real ales and lagers which are well kept. Came for Sunday lunch, while we was away for the weekend. Absolutely lovely little gem of a pub. The food was amazing! The beef just melted in your mouth. I know if we ever come this way again we will definitely be stopping by for more food. Thank you Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5

First time back since the renovation. Now more of a 'food ' pub, rather than a pub that does food. My gammon was the BEST I 've had in a long time BRAVO! Definitely go for chunky chips if you have the option. My wife has the Steak and Ale pie, that was delicious too! DEFINITELY worth a visit. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
