Beautiful place to meet with friends. from beginning to end very attentive and efficient service. the sandwiches were the best we had in a long time and our friends said their suppe was excellent. we're coming back. also extremely reasonable.
We came here on Saturday for lunch. Even with a limited menu we had a good choice. with a pflugmann for my man and salmon salad for me. with coffee to accompany it, we have even dessert in one. Lachs cheesecake and parkin. and custard! yum! beautiful and quiet, but still almost every table full.
We decided to have coffee and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at this hidden gem of a place. The art gallery was impressive, showcasing some outstanding artwork. We ordered a snack, but it turned out to be a huge meal that filled us up for the rest of the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, great value for money. Five stars.
We arrived at the restaurant as soon as they opened at 11 am, only to be told that they were closed for indoor dining. We were directed to the outdoor tables, but it was too cold for us to sit outside. When we asked why the restaurant wasn't open, we were rudely told that it was due to COVID-19. The woman's condescending attitude was off-putting, so we left and took our business elsewhere. We have visited this restaurant in the past, but after this experience, we will not be returning. It seems that they do not value their customers and are not in need of business as they claim to be thriving during the pandemic. Other establishments are safely reopening, while this one seems to lack proper customer service.
