New possession has breathed new life into this tired old place. The food was fantastic. Eggs cooked perfectly. Hash was perhaps the best at Cape. Prices on Par with other places. However, coffee could be improved. Nice to add another place to our rotation. The old owners had lost all enthusiasm and showed it. Try it!
Best breakfast on the Cape! The place is nautical with blues, greens and white, a working model train scoots around the shelf over the diners and the staff are wonderful. Smithfield Link sausages were juicy and damp but only the right moment when you bite in a piece. Delicious! I loved her toast! Thick slices slightly roasted were perfect! Great bread! But the red bucks were some of the best I ever had! A warm thanks to Beth, the fast, efficient and super friendly server and Jon, the owner/manager. Fantastic and I'll be back!
Saturday morning breakfast. Absolutely the best breakfast veggie packaging I ate. It was colorful and perfectly combined. Eggs, all fresh broccoli, paprika, spinach, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with American cheese and only a touch of provolone cheese made it very tasteful. It was perfectly wrapped in a veggie wrap and slightly grilled at the opening, so you can hold it in your hand to eat. My husband had mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese olmlette. It was light, fluffy and tasty. The place is picturesque, small and very Cape Coddish. Waitresses all very friendly and service was great. A little inexpensive, but definitely worth it.
1st time in after the ownership change. Staff were very personable. Food was outstanding. Portions were perfect. My wife didn't like the coffee, too much of a dark roast for her, but I liked it. We will be back.
