Greeters and wait staff are all very friendly and helpful. The bar and kitchen needs a little help. We received summer sangrias that were nothing more than watered down fruit punch and the chicken Marsala was made with what looked and tasted like canned beef gravy. Have loved it here for many years. Sadly not at the moment. Staff needs training. Servers repeatedly forgot requested items then one simply dropped them on the table with a sorry afte 2 requests and 20 mimute wait. Then when we were nearly done they brought it. Servers not familar with menu items. Soda gun needs cleaning (moldy taste on seltzer). This is not the pre fire Setauket Mario 's we knew and loved. Music was so depressing cut after cut of 70s drab hits weird. Bar and seats were empty on a holiday Friday at 830? That might tell you all you need to know. Please train staff. Fish was good but chicken was tough and over salted. Pound it flat. Twice had to get server when restaurant mostly vacant. Sad to see an old favorite struggle.

Love going on Friday night and sitting at a bar table. They have music. Food is delicious and wine is good too. Service is always with a smile. We had a horrible experience all of our orders were wrong or incomplete and we had to wait an extra long time for our meals. We had to put in multiple requests for bread, water refills, and to go boxes. I'm not sure if I caught them on a really bad day, but I'm hesitant to go back. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
