Mala Yong Tau Foo YTF and the sauce were good, but their mala level suits the public most, for me it was not numb and not spicy at all, i need at least double or triple the numbness and spiciness, then perfect. 2. Mala mushroom This was good and crispy, recommended. 3. Nasi lemak (Wednesday special) Take away the nasi lemak, the rice was really fragrance, lots of tasty ingredients, sambal was good (topped up extra sambal chilli), recommended. Loving every single dish here, especially their YTF, and the innovative dishes eg the mala mushroom are such a hit! Crispy and well seasoned, making it a Moreish dish! The ytf, with the 3 options of gravy is one of its kind! The ngor hiang is homemade and delicious, but can improve on its 5 spice flavour. Super recommend this to everyone! Please come try and tell me what you think!
Hakka ytf is flavourable, but the Taiwanese popcorn mushroom taste more and more like eating pepper The chilli that comes with ytf is pretty good and not too spicy. Omni Thai style meatless meatball is pretty solid though I find it a bit hard. It has a strong lemongrass taste too. The herbal chicken was very good. If only there are some lettuce in it. Nasi lemak was very good too. Roasted chicken in the chicken rice was so so as the chicken turns hard when its cold. Maybe they can consider change to Ming Xin brand. Curry puff skin is thick but filling was tasty. Special of the day usually sells fast, so do go early or call to preorder. Closed at 2 pm. It would be good if they could identify which item is not vegan-friendly. Updated from previous review on 2023-03-02
Very vegan-friendly eatery that mainly sells yong tau foo! They have lots of unique soup choices like bak ku teh and kimchi. Love the handmade meat paste stuffing in the yong tau foo and sides. They also have tasty and affordable vegan CNY sets, bazhang, etc! Updated from previous review on 2022-09-14
You can choose mee pok mee Kia, yellow noodle, kwaytiao or rice to go with your YTF. Hakka YTF is not commonly sold. They made it so tasty! Especially their stuffed taukwa, not deeply fried and soft in the inside.
