We ordered a pint of Pedigree and a glass of white wine, which came to a total of £11.65. The wine alone cost £7.25, which we found surprising. We will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.
I spent a significant amount of time (and gas) driving to this highly-touted establishment. The Marstons’ Brewery website promotes it as a pub and hotel, but in reality, guests cannot just drop in for a drink or spend the night. It's disappointing because the building is beautiful and has a lot of potential. It seems like false advertising.
We are very disappointed with the service we received at this restaurant. We booked a table for 7:00pm for my mother's birthday, who lives on the same street. Despite arriving just before 7:00, we were made to wait 10 minutes while others who arrived after us were served first. When we were finally served, the bartender left us waiting for another 5 minutes before helping us. We asked for the manager, but the supervisor only served us after finishing some other tasks. By the time we were served, it was already 7:20 and we were very unhappy with the delayed service. The manager gave excuses instead of solutions, and we decided to leave as we were not satisfied with the service we were receiving. Being treated rudely by the staff, especially since we are locals, was very disappointing. We strongly advise avoiding this restaurant.
I was at the pub with my friend enroute Bush Craft survival training Weekend. The place was bubbling with life with loads of families, couples and friends. The meals are very nice although a bit pricey. The atmosphere and ambience in around the pub was very pleasant with plenty of seating areas inside and outside.
We love going to the albion for our treat as i now work shifts we do not get to visit as often now, but when we do we are always greeted like old friends, service is always attentive and are advised of any changes made to the menu. On our visit on sunday 17 april Tracey took the time to talk to us about the menu that was coming and what was on it. We have also booked for christmas. We always get asked if we want our favourite table.once again a big thank you to Tracey and her team see you soon Ruth and Michael
