Wa-noa Golf Club - EAST SYRACUSE

We visit Paula's Restaurant at Wanoa Golf Club every Friday for her delicious fish dinner. The golf course is stunning and meticulously maintained.

The course itself is nice, but the pace of play was terrible. We were stuck behind two groups of elderly ladies who were playing at an extremely slow pace and wouldn't allow us to play through.

The course was enjoyable, and I definitely plan to take my next shot here. I missed a few, so I didn't achieve my best score this time. Overall, the staff was very professional and attentive.

This is a lovely, peaceful country course that's a bit off the beaten path. The tees and fairways were well-maintained. However, I found the greens to be somewhat small and quite challenging due to their slopes. The clubhouse is nice and has a full bar, and the sandwiches that my friends ordered looked really good.

The prices might be a bit higher compared to similar courses in the area. If they could add some grass to the tee boxes, it would be a truly enjoyable course. They have made some nice improvements over the past year.
