I tried the food at this restaurant. The quality of the food was good, but I was disappointed with their lunch offerings as they were not as impressive.

Even though it is a cozy little restaurant, the hostess is welcoming and attentive. We had a great meal of pad Thai and green curry beef that were both delicious. We will definitely be returning.

The Thai cook is a busy place for lunch, but our group of four were the only girls for dinner. We ordered the yellow curry chicken, the cashew nut chicken, the sweet and sour chicken and the chicken comb. All dishes were attractive and delicious. The service was fast and efficient. Recommended.

During my visit for lunch on a weekday, I noticed that the restaurant was bustling with customers. The lunch specials offered great value, so I decided to order the Green Curry Chicken. The dish was served with rice, a green salad, and a deliciously baked spring roll. The curry had a rich creaminess from the coconut milk and a gradual heat from the green curry paste. On a later visit, I tried the Red Curry Beef, which was creamy and satisfying. The pad Thai with chicken was also a solid choice, with flavorful noodles and a good balance of ingredients. For those looking to try something different, the Spicy Basil Beef is a tasty option with a nice kick from chili peppers. I also sampled the Yellow Curry Chicken, which had a moderate level of spiciness and was served with onions, potatoes, and fried shallots. While the service may seem rushed due to the restaurant's busyness, the food is consistently good and offers great value for the price. Overall, Thai Chef Casual Cuisine is a reliable choice for satisfying Thai food in the area.

My daughter and I tried Thai Chef as a quick meal between dance classes. We ordered the crispy wontons and crispy tofu. I have never had anything so bland, even with the dipping sauce. We also ordered Pad Thai that is a staple in most...Thai restaurants. You can usually tell if they know what they are doing when you taste the Pad Thai. In this case, we got a plate of slightly underdone rice noodles, a few pieces of chicken and what might have been egg and tofu, an overwhelming taste of vinegar. Everything on the plate was a uniform off white with not even a hint of cilantro to add a touch of vibrant colour to the dish. Thai food is known for the way they balance between salty, sweet, spicy and textures of soft and crunchy. The vibrancy of colours on the plate are usually beautiful regardless of how inexpensive or expensive the restaurant may be. This place didn't even try. An overall disappointment both in food and decor.
