Absolutely delicious food in a lovely tiny little local restaurant. The fantastic food was made even better with the lovely hosts Jay and Glenice making you feel so welcome.Thoroughly recommend this slightly more personal experience in eating out, with a great menu, good prices and a really nice cosy atmosphere. The dishes were all very tasty and loved the pickles to go with them.Do yourself a favour and give this great little place a go - you will not be disappointed.
Best Goat curry I have had in a long time and the tenderness of the beef curry was amazing, with the homemade pickles and beef samosas, left the restaurant very full, happy and super spiced! Definitely worth the visit, looking forward to coming back and trying a few more dishes and buying a lemon pickle jar. Thankyou
We ate here this evening, 4 adults and 4 kids. What a great variety of choice on the menu and each dish was filled with flavor and spices that tantalized the taste buds. Every one at the table liked something different, which was a good indicator that all the dishes were good. The goat curry was a highlight, and the chicken curry tender and aromatic. Make sure you try the poppadoms and pickles.
What a fantastic little gem in East Victoria Park. Well worth travelling to regardless of where you live in Perth, and most definitely worth a visit if you are here on holiday. We visited this family run restaurant recently where we experienced wonderful hospitality from the owners and enjoyed an array of extremely delicious foods from Bangladesh. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, giving you the feel of being anywhere in the world. We started off with entrees which were perfectly cooked and very tasty! We then had both meat (goat and pork) and vegetarian dishes which were delectable; the meat was extremely succulent and tender, the goat was in a rich gravy and the masala pork had the most tasty meat juices I have ever tasted- the two vegetable dishes were quite different to each other, complimented the meat dishes really well and each was quite exceptional. The portion sizes were spot on and all the dishes were very satisfying. In addition we had homemade pickles (lemon, aubergine and chilli) and raita to add even further flavour and spark to our meal. This food was divine. Our teenage boys were certainly satisfied, we all enjoyed everything we ordered and we all voted that we will be returning to Jays Masala Junction soon to try the other choices on the menu.Well worth a visit and highly recommend.
