The lobster roll was small and expensive, which was disappointing. Despite my initial lackluster experience, I have since discovered that I actually enjoy lobster rolls. The tables were sticky, possibly due to lacquer, and the young staff seemed to be constantly cleaning. The overall atmosphere was strange, and it felt like the employees may not be happy working there. While the staff was friendly, there was an underlying sense that something was off. Additionally, customers are required to bring their ticket up to the counter, even if the restaurant is empty, which made me feel unwelcome. Overall, I would recommend saving your money and dining elsewhere.
I wish I could give more than five stars. I feel like the fish that was in our fish and chips was probably swimming earlier that day it was so fresh and it didn't know that it was going to be a delicious dinner lol. I love this place ! Great food niceatmosphere and very fast service !
Great little seafood shop with a view. You sit at picnic tables right on the dock alongside some umbrellas. We had good lobster and decent chowder but the oysters were pathetic. They were paper thin and reminded me of pulling wet crepe paper offof a shell. I can't believe they bothered to offer them. But, all in all, I'd go again (I'd check out the oysters before Iordered them).
This local seafood stand specializes in delicious local clams and lobster. The fried clams were well-seasoned with just the right amount of batter. The clam chowder was made fresh with cream, clams, butter, celery, potato, and onion. I ordered a regular size container of fried clams, a cup of chowder, a Greek salad, and a bottle of Bud Light for $60. You can decide if that's a good value. The portions of clams were a bit small, and the Greek salad was not up to par. But hey, it's vacation, right?
What a great discovery! We were in Bourne for the PanMass challenge (supporters, not riders) and wanted to have some seafood before leaving the coastal area. We took a chance and were very happy with our choice! The lobster rolls had huge portions of fresh lobster, just the right amount of mayo, and perfectly toasted rolls. The onion rings were crispy and hot, and the clam chowder was creamy and delicious - not too thin, not too thick, just perfect! They even had a lobster pool on site where you could choose your own lobster (there were many to choose from!) and plenty of other menu options ranging from burgers to salads. The food was prepared quickly, but just a heads up - there is no table service, you have to order and pick up at the counter. We highly recommend this place!
