It’s hard to find another place that offers such a unique combination! We especially enjoy Friday nights with the DJ or occasional live music. Looking forward to our next visit!
I absolutely love the breakfast here! The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the service is consistently friendly.
The food was fantastic, but I wouldn’t suggest visiting on a Sunday afternoon. The jazz music is so loud that it makes it hard to think clearly.
However, after agreeing to sit at the bar, we waited for the hostess to show us the way. Instead, she just looked at us and said, "Go find them." We eventually located two seats near the kitchen door. As I took off my coat, I accidentally bumped into someone exiting—my apologies for that. After settling in, we were there for about five minutes, yet no one acknowledged us. Meanwhile, the couple behind us was seated at a table. When we inquired with the hostess about why we hadn’t been offered a table, she responded that we could wait for one—a choice that was never given to us initially. At that point, we decided to leave. The hostess seemed to lack effective management skills for seating guests. We’re not overly demanding and understand the challenges of the service industry, but it would be beneficial for her to receive training on proper seating management. We were polite throughout the experience, but she was less than accommodating.
Came here while passing by for a softball tournament. It 's really one of the only nicer ambience sit down restaurants in the area. Plus, they take reservations with OpenTable, which is nice. However, despite this and the fact that tons of people seem to eat here, the food is average. There 's nothing special that wowed my group, but the portions are big so that sort of made up for it. There 's no dress code but most people are dressed nice causal. It 's not loud but it 's not quiet either. The bathrooms are well kept. Front waiting room only has two chairs though which seems insufficient for the crowds this place takes in on the weekends. Positives: Big portions, good plating/presentation Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options Large beer, wine, and drink selection Really comfortable seating Private area in the back you can rent out for events Super friendly hostess sat us earlier than the wait time they gave us Good service food in big groups is given on a really cute looking platter holder Lots of parking Covered outdoor seating Offers umbrella covers and a coat check Negatives: Smoked tomato soup is too smokey. Would have been great if some cream was added to it and if it was served with a side of bread rather than croutons Mixed drinks are small here Hand cut fries are soft, but some people like that. For me, I prefer more of a crunchy fry. It also would have been nice if they had more of a seasoned taste to them They don 't ask how you want your steak, or at least they didn 't for us. Definitely more of a medium rare Pasta sauce was very watery and did not compliment the noodles. Noodles seemed store bought and overcooked.
