I had a mishap when a dog walked through the railings from the beach, causing me to trip and spill hot drinks everywhere. The coffee is good, but there seems to be a lack of control over the patrons and their habit of saving seats.
The coffee was nice around £3.25 for Cappucino but he price of the 4 percent proof draught lager is a joke £6.50 a pint or £4.50 for half a pint. The bean counters need to do the math and fix proper prices. Its cheap quality lager at inflation busting prices.
My friends and I visited the Beach Cafe for lunch. The service was good and the food was great it is reasonably priced our bill came to £88 but that did involve wine and a couple of pimms I would definitely go again. The only down side is there are tables outside on the decking but no umbrellas so on a hot day you have no shade.
We were there and ignored by the skinny and cheeky waitress. We waited for an approach to us despite the fact that she had been watching us for 20 minutes and had no intention of picking up the order. I will add that there were not too many customers. Her impertinence shocked some of the customers next to our table. We will never recommend this place and I advise the owner to find a new waitress
The flat white at this restaurant is exceptional, skillfully crafted and definitely deserves a better vessel than a paper cup. The setting is lovely and I highly recommend dining here.
