We met up with a friend who works nearby and decided to come back to this charming place for lunch. Luckily we timed it just right before the lunchtime rush! The owners are very welcoming, friendly and talked us through our food options. Everything is freshly made and I can definitely recommend the Mediterranean toastie which was delicious. Very reasonably priced too. It is only a small cafe, very quirky, with the added bonus that you can mooch around looking at all the nick-nacks on display, most of which are for sale. It 's like a step back in time. It 's also a great place to chillax whilst enjoying something tasty to eat and drink. We will be back again!!
The best almond croissants I have ever tasted. Coffee not bad either. This is a great little coffee shop and antique boutique. I go there every year when I come to Eastbourne for tennis week. A visit to Jasper's is a highlight of my time in Eastbourne
The combination of tearoom with antiques is nothing new, but this is something special, small rooms filled with various objects covering nearly everything sounds like a recipe for junk, but somehow here, the selection os special. We asked for a couple of objects, but they weren't for sale, so we just enjoyed discussing and carried on searching.
The cakes are delicious. The restaurant is unique! It is quirky, individual, and interesting, with a variety of antiques and collectibles on display, some of which are available for purchase.
