We both had delicious quiches (medium sea and cheese) with a beautiful mixed salad and coleslaw. I especially enjoyed the large hot chocolate on both visits, a perfect way to warm up on a wet and windy December day. Unfortunately, I don't live in Eastbourne, but I will definitely return when I'm in the area again. The cafe is spacious with a friendly staff and a great selection of sweet and savory treats.
This place, as the name says, is simple and charming at the same time. beautiful staff, great sandwiches and a lot of cakes. for anyone who likes pineapple, they ask them for fresh pineapple juice, which is one of the best I ever had. I'm glad our hostes recommended this place while we were here.
Love it. the type here was very nice and kept the caffe for a little longer open, I can see why it has so good reviews. the cakes were beautiful, but also the mezzenplatte. they were all cheap. that must be the best caffe in eastbourne.
What a fantastic dining experience at this amazing South Street restaurant! The roasted egg and salmon bag with salad was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there were so many beautiful and tasty cakes, sandwiches, and hearty dishes to choose from. A wonderful ambiance! I would rate this place 10 out of 10.
This is my top choice for lunch in Eastbourne. The salads are diverse and full of Mediterranean flavors that are surprisingly exciting. The cakes are absolutely irresistible. It can get quite crowded, so I recommend making a reservation. The outdoor seating can be noisy near the bus stops. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic.
