The Pavilion - Eastbourne

We haven’t been here for many years as the place had really gone down when we were last there. This time we only went because the Langham had a private function and was closed to non residents. The to us new outside seating area of the Pavillion attracted our attention, so we decided to give it another try. It has really improved and the service is good again. There are apparently some worries about the lease so we hope that can be sorted out and the present management retained. We shall then return, maybe even when the Langham is open to non residents again!

I visited on a walk with my two dogs, had a drink and there the ball while enjoying the view. Staff were very cheerful and brought my drink to me. Very pretty spot and the outside area is lovely!

This isn't your average sandwich, this is a Pavilion sandwich. The bread is gorgeous and full to bursting. It didn't stop at just the sandwich - it also came with a fresh side salad with delicious dressing and a bowl of coleslaw. It was delicious and excellent value for the price.

I stopped by this restaurant on Thursday and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches, cheesy fries, and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The sandwiches were large and came with a fresh side salad. The milkshakes were also tasty. The service was friendly and the food arrived promptly. I would recommend this place.

I visited this restaurant two days ago, after enjoying a nice walk in the sunshine. My friend and I decided to buy three cheese scones to go. We've had these scones before and they have always been delicious. However, when we ordered, the staff member ignored us and instead chose to chat with colleagues. We were told to wait inside while our order was prepared. When we got home, we found the scones were stale, which was disappointing considering the price we paid. I reached out to the restaurant via email, but have not received a response. The staff member who served us could use some customer service training. It's a shame because this cafe is in a prime location and will likely attract many tourists in the coming months. Unfortunately, we will not be returning as there are plenty of other places happy to serve us.
