Long wait, but worth it! good portions and served hot
Had such a great Sunday lunch with starter for 4then our roast but bit. Dissapointnted we asked for dessert order but tended to new customers so had to re askthink he did forget But all good xx
The landlords, Steve and Ann, are a genuinely friendly and down-to-earth couple who make you feel right at home. Steve’s cooking is consistently excellent, featuring a well-priced menu that includes classic British dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, along with some spicier options for those seeking something different. Overall, there's always a warm welcome at The Walnut Tree, and when you leave, you'll feel well-fed and as if you've spent the evening with friends.
Great little pub with a cozy atmosphere. It’s surprisingly small, though I expected it to be a bit larger. The menu is quite limited on Sundays, featuring mainly roasts. However, it’s very popular with the locals, who contribute to a lively and cheerful environment. The toilets are very well maintained, though you do need to step up when you enter. The food was fantastic; the roast came with a generous selection of delicious vegetables, and the pork, beef, gammon, and chicken were all cooked perfectly. Be sure to ask if they have any special offerings, as they can be quite delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would highly recommend this pub to anyone in the area.
