Karoo - Eastham

I always enjoy visiting Karoo whenever I'm in the Cape. It's a refreshing change from eating fish all week. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the dishes are delicious and one-of-a-kind. It's really one of the few places to experience African cuisine. I was so disappointed to find out they were closed. I hope they can make a comeback soon!

I'm still dreaming about their lamb stew... mmm... it's so wonderful to have such a delicious and unique dinner choice in the area. I can't wait for their spring reopening!

Karoo is a fantastic restaurant to enjoy a meal. The staff is consistently attentive, and the quality of the food is always top-notch. The bar area has a warm and welcoming atmosphere (pre-covid), and their mixed drinks are always spot-on. The owner is dedicated to ensuring that every guest has a wonderful dining experience at reasonable prices.

Love their Peanut soup and vegetarian options. Open and welcoming even during Covid times

This is a wonderful place with a fantastic outdoor area. We visited to celebrate my partner's brother-in-law's wedding, and we had an amazing dinner. The drinks were a bit on the weak side, but the food was outstanding and incredibly unique!
