My Husband and I both separately and together have stayed at over 60 Premier Inns around the UK and this restaurant was the worst we have tried. Staff didn 't know how to log in on the laptop when we arrived so there was a queue. We were treated as second class diners because we used the Meal Deal which was part of our stay at the Premier Inn which was attached. The service was inattentive and we were not offered a starter or a dessert. We had to go to the bar to get another drink. We were seated near to a very loud radio so could not easily chat. The food seemed to be of the re-heat variety and the small pieces of steak on the cob salad were raw in the middle despite having asked for medium to well done as I cannot eat raw meat. To add insult to injury, we were charged a surcharge for this meat so the meal I was actually allowed consisted of salad only. We were told this was an extra which it definitely is not and has never been charged extra for at any other Premier Inn restaurant (in-house or linked) After a long day travelling on business this was definitely not the relaxing enjoyable experience we had hoped for.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Gateway Table Table, a restaurant that offers a delightful selection of vegan and gluten-free options, including their exceptional vegan gluten-free English breakfast. I must say, it was a truly enjoyable experience. As someone who follows a vegan and gluten-free diet, finding a restaurant that caters to my dietary needs can sometimes be a challenge. However, The Gateway Table Table exceeded my expectations. The vegan gluten-free English breakfast they served was delicious and satisfying. Each component of the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared, from the perfectly seasoned vegan sausages to the flavorful grilled mushrooms and crispy hash browns. It was evident that great care was taken in ensuring that every element was not only gluten-free but also bursting with flavor. The customer service at The Gateway Table Table was also commendable. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my visit. They were accommodating and willing to address any questions or special requests, further enhancing the overall dining experience. What made my visit even more delightful was the fact that my 5-year-old son could enjoy a full English breakfast and eat for free. It's heartening to see a restaurant that values and caters to families, making dining out an affordable and enjoyable experience for parents with young children. In summary, The Gateway Table Table is a gem for individuals seeking vegan and gluten-free options. Their vegan gluten-free English breakfast was both delicious and satisfying, and the customer service was top-notch. The added benefit of complimentary meals for young children is a thoughtful touch that sets this restaurant apart. I highly recommend visiting The Gateway Table Table for a memorable dining experience.
Food was genuinely fantastic! Came out hot, good portions, all at the same time and tasted great. Kids portion was really good size too. Service was polite, friendly and quick although we did have to seek out and ask twice; once for someone to take our order for mains and for dessert. Overall, one of the best TT meals we've had.
Mixed grill cooked to perfection. Deserts were awesome. Excellent value breakfast and dinner offer.
