Mikes Traditional Fish Chips

We just wanted some chips to accompany our meat pie at home, but they turned out to be excellent chips. Thank you very much!

First time trying this place out as my usual place was closed for annual holiday so thought I’d check out the last remaining chippy out in the area.. This is my honest review of the place… looked clean and tidy inside the place and well looked after! Price i thought was rather expensive for small portion of chips and amount that you get for it and didn’t go by much for the quality of them either didn’t like the fact they put them in a pain simple cardboard box instead of like a paper bag or even just wrapped up in paper fish and chips paper… battered sausages were good and good batter on them Customer service wise was okay, would of been nice to have been asked how much salt and vinegar on the chips and not much customer interaction..

My absolute favourite chippie. I've been using them for years and they are consistently brilliant. They've got a loyalty scheme too, and they even sent me a voucher for my birthday! Top quality food. Nice people. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Went in and ordered a fish and chips I was the only person in there A few others came in they forgot about my order I waited 25 minutes watching everyone else leave after I had initially ordered Then the chips were naff the fish was okay.. Not my best experience, although it’s been pretty good before But this experience has made me doubt going again

Delicious fish and chips, fresh, hot and not greasy. I also had a side dish of salad which was great.
