La Cabana - Eastpoint

The Augua de Jamica was elite. 4 stars. The mixed fajitas was okay. Nothing to write home about but a solid 4/5 fajita mix. Same with the menudo, 4/5 stars but the tortillas are homemade and delicious AF. Last but not least the queso was also 4/5. The service was 6/5. Great service.

This is a great little Neighborhood Restaurant! Food is authentic and homemade. Real steak in the tacos. Family owned and operated, and they're on-site to greet you. Dining room inside, nice area for carryout, plus a great enclosed outdoor eating area. If you haven't tried it, you should. I'm definitely going back.
