Donny's Kitchen - Eastwood

A lovely restaurant in the Landmark Hotel. After drinking there for months we finally decided to try the food. Prior to this we were put off by the prices, with so many other great restaurants in the suburb. To our surprise the food was great. Had one of the best beef dishes, full of whole spices and unbelievable flavours. The waiter was fantastic. In the end the price was worth it.

Being a part of the Landmark Hotel, you would have no idea that this place existed! It's a nice small area, but service is and and the food is really tasty....we only had a small table of people, so will have to come back another time as there were so many dishes I would like to try. We had one of their signature dishes which is the mud crab and you can have it with the choice of sticky rice or vermicelli. We went for the sticky rice as we've been told it's really tasty, keep in mind that it does take a little longer as this type of rice takes longer to cook, plus the place is usually quite busy! But it is worth the wait...the crab was so sweet and the sticky rice just tops it! We also got the sweet and sour fish which was quite delicious too.

Located just stone throw away from the Chinese side of Eastwood station, This mid market Hong Kong style fusion eatery share the floor with the pub. Food came out reasonably quick. The portion is a smaller than the one shown on the menu and the food is a bit pricey. The quality however is above average. Ordered Gel Gel Mixed Mushroom, Oxtail Stone Pot. Stirfry Pork with XO Sauce. Love the Mushroom which is full of flavour yet still taste fresh. XO Pork comes second, the snake bean compliments the pork well. Oxtail dish is good but not as I have expected. Bottomline: Great food. Good service. Average value.

Un buon ristorante nel Landmarkenhotel. Dopo che abbiamo bevuto lì per mesi, abbiamo finalmente deciso di provare il cibo. In precedenza, siamo stati rilasciati con i prezzi con così tanti altri ottimi ristoranti nel sobborgo. Il cibo era fantastico per la nostra sorpresa. Aveva uno dei migliori piatti di manzo, pieni di spezie e incredibili aromi. Il cameriere era fantastico. Alla fine, il prezzo è valsa la pena.

Come parte dell'hotel punto di riferimento, non avrebbero idea che questo posto fosse esistito! È una bella piccola area, ma il servizio è e il cibo è davvero delizioso ... avevamo solo un piccolo tavolo di persone, quindi dobbiamo tornare un altro tempo, perché ho dato così tanti tribunali che mi piacerebbe provare. Avevamo uno dei suoi piatti caratteristici che è il granchio di fango, e puoi averlo con la scelta di riso appiccicoso o il vermicelli. Siamo andati per il riso appiccicoso, come abbiamo detto che è davvero delizioso, ricorda che ci vuole un po 'più a lungo, poiché questo tipo di riso richiede più tempo per cucinare, e il posto è solitamente occupato! Ma vale la pena aspettare ... il granchio era così carino e le cime del riso appiccicoso è facile! Abbiamo anche il pesce dolce e aspro, che era anche piuttosto delizioso.
