When we asked workers, they didn't know what happened. so I won't be back.
Save your effort and avoid it. Previously a big Japanese running store I would say proudly was one of the better rams in sydney. it was not clear that they changed their owns before they were sitting, but still tried. should have realized the warning signs, the latter has a constant line during the push times, but by 730 more than the half empty. gyoza was surprisingly delicious but lacked the sticky crust floor. karage very moderate, probably somewhat worse than average. quite dry and unfavourable. but I was hopeful, because sometimes large smokers are focusing on the smokers and not on the sides. that wasn't the case, the schoyu wheels ordered, the broth had a hit on it, another bad warning. broth was bland and loaded with msg (got dursty after first spoon,) but got wise by shoyu. the broth was also not clear as most shoyu rays, but turbid. chashu has gone down in quality, they have the possibility of the right chashu and boar type toppings but replaced a single type now. In summary: new owners lack authenticity, love to detail and service. this is not Japanese ramen, but think more a cantonese version, would really feel like a cantonese diner would serve and claim to be trembling. they have large portions, but if eating is not pleasant, it is not good. never return would rather travel to chatswood or crow nest for ramen.
A well-located restaurant near the railway station. great atmosphere in which felt very new. the food was very delicious. a large menu that you can choose. good price. the personal was not Japanese, but Chinese. will come back
We went to this restaurant last night and we are very disappointed. The ramen we ordered, the pork on top is cold. The sushi rice was dry and tasted like half cooked. The sushi fish was not fresh at all and you can tell this...when they served it. End up we couldn’t even finish the sushi despite we were super hungry. Never ever go back again.
We used to go to Zenya all the time before they renovated the place. Went there last week and ordered tan tan ramen with the $3 salad and takoyaki side. My partner ordered shoyu ramen. The tan tan ramen arrived and we had to wait...for another 15 minutes for the other ramen to be served. We ended up sharing the tan tan ramen and pused it back and forth across the table as we were hungry and don't want the ramen to get cold. Very romantic, indeed! : I think they need to work on their kitchen order and timing. I saw similar reviews about same problem. The ramen were actually very tasty. It's slightly different from before they renovated the place. Maybe there's a change in management or kitchen staff? Hope they would improve the service. Will definitely come back as they're making good ramen.
