Chili's Grill - Eatontown

This was my first experience with chili and it was excellent! The portion size was more than enough and I will definitely be returning. The restaurant is conveniently located en-route to the Jersey Shore and they offer pre-ordering options. You can pick up your food and enjoy it on the beach. Parking is easy at the Monmouth Mall location, with designated spaces for pick-up orders.

I sat at the bar and ordered the lunch special, shrimp fajitas. A large portion was served and it looked delicious. The taste was good, but there was a bit too much oil on the cast iron plate. The lunch specials are a great value and they offer several other specialties. I would definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Service was terrible! eating was disgusting fat. the bathroom was an absolute chaos. there were brown and black pieces in my mac and cheese. never comes back.

I enjoy my dinner and the people were nice and friendly

My food was never delivered to my table. The appetizer and my daughter's food arrived but an hour later, im still waiting. I flagged down a server who admitted that my food has been sitting in the kitchen. She said she will place a nee order so i waited longer and needed it to go at this point. The food that was brought to me was COLD. I have no doubt its the food that was sitting out for an hour and they charged me for it. My server never apologized for her mistake. Instead she told me how I can pay my bill. When i gave then back their cold food and asked for a refund, i was told to leave without proof of the refund and that it would take 5-7 business days for it to show up. They really thought they earned my trust after that? So I demanded written proof, of which she was able to print out a paper showing a full refund. That was the only silver lining. Being that I have worked in the service industry, I am very disappointed in the steps they took to cover up their mistake instead of actually correcting the mistake. Good customer service should not be a difficult concept to grasp, and if it is, then find another career path.
