The midday restaurant is an authentic local spot with incredibly friendly staff. The lunch served there consists of a variety of Finnish food dishes. The salad with smoked meat was particularly delicious.
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the owner is very hospitable. We ordered pork and calf meat, both of which were large, well-cooked, and served with French fries on the side. The prices are on the high side, but the portions are generous and the service is excellent. The owner even took the time to have a nice conversation with us and give us some tips on what to visit on the island. Some reviews mention that the interior is old, but it is actually honest and fitting for a small community. What more could one expect in the middle of a tiny island?
The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The owner even took the time to share with us the fascinating history of the island.
Great food and excellent service!
