The birria tacos are fantastic. The service was really the inner. They were happy to have us and had learned our name before we left. Just a really nice experience overall!
Aco Rico in Pinecrest is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and let me tell you, it was an experience worth raving about.Their burritos are a true delight generously sized and packed to the brim with flavorful fillings. For just around $12, you get a hearty meal that satisfies even the biggest appetite. Unlike other places, Taco Rico doesn't skimp on the stuffing, ensuring every bite is a burst of deliciousness. But that's not all. What truly sets Taco Rico apart is their attention to detail. They start your meal off right with complimentary homemade tortilla chips, served warm and crispy, alongside a salsa bar offering a variety of delicious options to complement your meal.Overall, Taco Rico delivers on every front quality, quantity, and value. If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine that doesn't break the bank, look no further than Taco Rico in Pinecrest. It's a definite must try for any food enthusiast!
I have not eaten here in some time. I decided to have lunch today. I ordered the 3 taco special. You can have chicken or beef. I like beef normally. I stood at the counter for like 5 minutes and nobody helped. Finally, they took my order. 3 beef tacos with lettuce, tomatoe, cheese and the supposed Chipotle sauce. Only like 10 dollars. Good deal. But. The meat was so disgusting, greasy, had absolutely no flavor what so ever. I did not taste Chipotle sauce BTW. The condiments they have are salsa, spicy atomic sauce and some other nasty Ness. Firstly, the salsa literally tastes like straight from a jar. So nasty. The atomic sauce is ok. The shells on my tacos were hard and the meat if you can call it that was greasy and had absolutely no flavor at all. The girls that work there basically are just walking around cleaning. One of them had her boyfriend there that just delivered them Starbucks. And They paid more attention to him than anyone else. I had the chicken tacos a few months ago BTW AND THEY were so dry and nasty with no salt or flavor you have no idea. I also seen a girl taking away a can of nasty refried beans to throw out. That's what they serve. Canned refried beans and gross beef stuff. Just stay away. Trust me.I hate to say it but Chipotle is even better. ?
We were starving after having subjecting ourselves to inedible food court food. Driving home to the Keys in commute traffic had us irritable, so we stopped at Taco Rico, and we were so happy we did. The burrito was generous, and the Baja bowl was really good. The horchata was the best I've ever had. Will definitely stop again when we're in the area.
