I really enjoyed my visit to this restaurant. My room (suite) was amazing! I adored the antiques, artwork, and beautiful hardwood floors. The food and service were both top-notch. The staff were all friendly and eager to assist.
Many charm, nice, clean, quiet - what could you want more?! The staff is super women! The booking with Shannon was pleasant and easy -and she made our late arrival pretty?do-able.? The next morning we were warmly welcomed by Amy and Angel in the tastefully decorated dining room. We then enjoyed a delicious and plentiful breakfast of asparagus ferratas, amazing geese, rye toast, fresh fruit, moist and tasty lemon cake, cranberry juice and a very satisfying cup of fresh brewed coffee. This Bed
Large spacious rooms with antique decor. Great. Coffee, coffee table and dinette in our room with large open area to move. Comfortable canopy bed. TV hidden in the armoire. Large bathroom with plenty of space to dress. Roben provided for your stay. Common areas in the building when you choose to use them couch, chairs, table, kitchenette with small fridge, coffee and tea. Breakfast is included and oh what a breakfast is it! Coffee, juice and water. I had all three. Beautiful glass of fresh fruit and a pastry. Then your Entrée (Quech/French toast/or waffle, bacon or sausage, potatoes Sir Grieß, AND toast. It was fabulous. Make sure to book at least one night for dinner. It is not included in the cost of accommodation, but you should eat there at least one evening. All employees were a pleasure to meet. They were kind and helpful. During our 4 nights we are some friendly people. We hated it. Visit staff and locals to visit places. They even warn you for what to watch for. We were told to be back in the dark because bears cross the highway. We didn't hear and we saw a bear! Oh! We were at Pack House, which also has a beautiful, wide covered veranda with comfortable chairs to relax. There is a large lush garden. The grass looked perfect. The Inn is within walking distance from the historic city centre and the lighthouse. Once in downtown, hop on the Trolleytour. It is worth the information they provide. I miss you Casey, Amy, Terrick, Maintenanceman. Thank you for treating us like friends. Even housekeeping had smiles on her faces and a blow in her step. You rock!!!
On our way back home from vacation, we decided to look for a place for breakfast, other than fast food. Our GPS lead us to this sweet little spot where they took us in and fed us delicious breakfast with all the trimmings! Even though we did not stay the night there they were as courteous to us as if we had. The staff was very professional and extremely courteous to us! After our meal we were encouraged to look around to check the grounds out. It's amazing the history of this place and what they've done with it! My wife and I will return there again but this time as guest staying overnight as opposed to hungry travelers looking for a nice place for breakfast.
