The Chicken Kitchen - Edenton

Don't come if you're in a hurry! I have stayed in the car thru line for 30 minutes and in the round do not move! big mistake! never again!

I visited Antid and had to check out the Chicken Kitchen after watching Adrian's Facebook videos. Her whole family loves everything that's served there, and the staff is so funny! My experience was amazing; the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly! If I ever get back in the area, I will definitely come back! Thanks to all of Adrian's videos from Tales of an Educated Debutante, I wouldn't have tried anything else!

I mean, it's fast food but without the fast part or standards of cleanliness and efficiency. The place stinks of old grease. Everything I touched was sticky. There are years of crud built up around the trash cans. There were no clean tables at all. Food was bland and cold.

The food was tasty, but the portion sizes were quite small, particularly the side dishes. The collard greens were overly watery and lacked seasoning.

It was a delightful experience. My meal was served hot and tasted amazing. My friend was also very satisfied.
