The Seafood Shanty - EDGARTOWN

The fried calamari and lobster roll were delicious and flavorful. However, the fish taco felt overcooked as it was boiled. The service was friendly and exceptionally quick. I highly recommend dining outside to fully enjoy the experience!

The fish and chips featured flaky cod, which could have used more seasoning, but the fries were exceptional—definitely the highlight of the dish. The special swordfish skewers served over salad were impressive, with large pieces of well-seasoned fish. The restaurant has a spacious layout with an outdoor terrace shaded by umbrellas, making it comfortable for dining, whether it's sunny or drizzling outside. Overall, it's a great spot worth visiting!

A definite must-visit! We arrived in October and found that the restaurant's hours were not very dinner-friendly (11:00 AM - 5:00 PM), so we decided to stop in for lunch and enjoy some seafood. I ordered the steamed lobster, which was incredibly fresh and delicious! The claws were a great size and really the highlight for me. The fries here are fantastic—crispy and wonderfully seasoned. Yum! The waitstaff were excellent—very attentive and friendly. This place fills up quickly, but they offer super fast service! I just wish they were open longer, but perhaps the shorter hours are part of their charm.

I recommend the whole restaurant. All dishes are amazing and good potions. Above all I love seafood plated and fish taco. There are also children's menus. I visited there in July 2021.

Always a go to during the summer. The only sand beach bar on island. Great menu for all including the kids. From fine lobster rolls to the food to burgers. This year try the poke bowl with watermelon and tuna..
