During our vacation, my husband and I enjoyed many outstanding dinners at The Terrace. Chef Zach is consistently excellent. The presentation, quality, and taste of each meal are not found in many other places on the Island. Having tried many menu items, among our favorites are the Peekytoe crab, gnocchi, vichyssoise, Dover Sole, turbot, tenderloin, Statler chicken, and the Maine lobster tail. The entire team of chef, kitchen, and dining room staff works their magic each time you dine. Thank you to all of you for helping us create so many treasured memories of summer 2024.
This is a spectacular venue set in an elegant old Inn. This is a top rated and very pricey restaurant so I did expect the food to live up to its reputation. It did not. The Dove Sole was not actually Dove Sole and it came with a very strong lemon sauce that completely overpowered the fish. It was almost inedible. The Turbot was also cooked in a strong lemon sauce, not as bad as the sole but still too strong. I am not a particularly fussy person but when dining at this type of restaurant, I expect great food. This was a very disappointing meal.
