Marmaris Cafe - Edgewater

We came here for our anniversary dinner, attracted by the nice view and tasty looking food. They definitely did not disappoint! Food: This Turkish spot in Edgewater serves great Mediterranean fare. We ordered the calamari to start, and then followed it up with the Mixed Grill and Skirt steak which both came with their own sides. Wow these portions were big. One entree could probably have fed the both of us comfortable. We ended up having to take the leftovers away. Very tasty! Service: We got there around 5 pm on Saturday night without a reservation and were seated right away. The servers were very patient in explaining some of the Turkish menu items I was unfamiliar with. Ambiance: The decor of this place is definitely outstanding. There is outdoor patio seating with string lights which would be perfect for a warm night. Inside, they have very nice decor as well so there are aesthetic options wherever you end up sitting!

Great Mediterranean food with an ambiance and friendly service. All appetizers are freshly made and they even have a Turkish breakfast menu, a must try on a lazy Sunday! Been here a few times already and will definitely go back!
