The Yacht Club - Edgewater

Today we had lunch at this restaurant at 12:30pm. It appeared that we were the only customers present when we arrived. We started our meal with a Frozen Strawberry Margarita and a Moscow Mule, which were delicious, except for the second round of drinks. The second Moscow Mule was served in a tarnished, rusty cup that smelled of copper and had a metallic taste. For an appetizer, we had Guacamole with chips, which was lacking in seasoning and flavor. Our main dishes included a Maine Lobster Roll, Snapper Tacos, Coleslaw, and Sea Salt Fries. They were out of brioche buns, so they served the Lobster Roll on a burger bun. The Lobster Roll lacked flavor and the Snapper Tacos were greasy. This was our fourth visit to "The Yacht Club" and once again, we left disappointed. The restaurant has potential and is beautiful, but it appears that they are in need of a new chef and management team. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend "The Yacht Club" as this was our fourth disappointing experience with them.

Good price. Service is excellent. Terrible horrible food..! We ordered oysters. Was not fresh and smells bad. Food came cold with no taste. This beautiful restaurant needs professional chefs and manager.

The restaurant is in a great location with plenty of parking. My wife and I enjoyed our time there. The food was well-prepared. The only thing that was a bit strange was when our server mentioned that it was mandatory to tip at least 10% of the bill as a restaurant policy, even though my wife received the wrong order. While it wasn't a big issue, it's worth mentioning the tipping requirement, especially when the receipt only suggests it. Despite this, we do plan to return as it was a positive experience overall.

We had a great dining experience at The Yacht Club. The Manager and all the Staff are very accommodating, friendly and so helpful with our group. We had so much relaxing fun. I will recommend this place and I will definitely bring my family andfriends here. Beautiful and breathtaking views of Manhattan Skyline and George Washington Bridge. The food and drinks are great.Thank you for the great service and ambiance to our big group.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. It was the worst night out ever, especially since it was supposed to be my first Father's Day dinner. When my family and I arrived, we were told that they were out of French fries, lobster, Caesar salad, and steak. We decided to stay and look at the rest of the menu, but our bad luck continued. After trying to order crab cakes and being told they were out, we tried to order mussels and calamari, only to be told they were also unavailable. We ended up having to order burgers since the seafood restaurant had run out of seafood. To add insult to injury, they then informed us they were out of burger buns as well. The burger itself was nothing special, just a frozen patty thrown on the grill. The sweet potato fries that came with it were also inconsistent, with one of us receiving an old batch while the other got fresh ones. It was clear that the management of the restaurant was lacking, as no one came to address the issues or apologize for the inconvenience. The frustration among the other customers was palpable, and it made for a truly nightmarish experience. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place, especially for special occasions like Father's Day or Mother's Day. It's not worth the disappointment.
