La Tolteca - Edgewood

I always enjoy the delicious food and drinks at this restaurant. The hosts always greet me with a smile and friendly attitude as soon as I walk in, and I'm always served promptly.

I am very particular about Mexican food, but this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The establishment is clean and the service is fast and friendly. I absolutely love this place. The drinks are well-priced and the menu offers a wide variety of options. I highly recommend checking it out.

This restaurant can be hit or miss. When I sit at the bar, the staff is sometimes helpful, but not always, especially if the bartender has to also serve the tables. The house margarita is delicious on its own, no need for any extra ingredients. The hand-made guacamole is a favorite of mine. However, the queso is extremely watery and lacking in flavor. The fajitas are always served sizzling hot. They do not offer a spicy salsa, just some pepper oil which can be messy. If you're looking for a good margarita, this is the place to go. And just a heads up, all the TVs are in Spanish.

I needed a bite while driving from Miami to NY. Easy spot off 95. I had the burrito supreme. It was great. Very tasty meats and chicken. Good sauces. I sat at the bar so quick. The place is busy at 1:30 n a Sunday. I'd come back for sure.

It's basically what you'd expect the food was decent and we were seated fairly quickly. It's also one of the only good places to go out to eat in Joppa, which is a good thing. However, my friend and I were seated right next to the bathroom even though there were other open tables. My margarita was good although there was less alcohol in it than I thought. Overall, we had a good experience.
