Lumber Yard Cafe - Edgewood

Been going to lumberyard for several years and ordered the Cajun pasta bowl several times because it was good. . Today was different (not so good) and cold. Chicken was dry sausage was way overcooked and sauces had very little taste and again was cold. I attempted to eat it but decided to let them know about my order which was hardly eaten and to just take it from the table. The owner said she would give me half off. All these years of dining here with 0 problems I believe I deserve more than a half off or at very least offer to replace it.so I told her to just keep the half and she did just that. We paid for both meals in full. At the register I let her know that I wouldn’t be back and her response was GLAD YOU TOLD ME. Good bye lumber yard forever!

Wonderful options and cooked to order. Whether wanting a salad, a burger or a full plate all food was fresh and tasty.

Food showed up super fast and was really good and they played good music the whole time and frequently came to check on us. Will definitely be back.

Ill give the food 4 stars but the service is below average. Millennials that should be maybe at most dishwashers. They sell dessert but never offer it. If they would hire servers this place would be very busy. Great looking decor and the food isnt too bad but the servers suck something horrible. Been here at least 6 times. Only once did I get good service. Oh well saves me tip money. Update today food was outstanding the service was better. Prices and atmosphere is great as well!
