Love how the lobster is shredded. Well done Jason's Deli. We will recommend and will be back. Over and over.
I love Jason's Deli! It can be really busy, but the line moves pretty fast. When you enter, you can take a menu to check out. After your order they give you a table number and they bring the food to you. While waiting for your food (which usually does not last very long) they have free ice cream, free maize bread, free mixed bits and granola, jars, small garlic bread toasts and free infusion red muffins. You have a variety of options that make this place a good choice for lunch or a fast, casual dinner. Your portions are a big size! And everyone was really friendly in my experience. I usually come to lunch when I'm in Edina!
Good place for families with children. Their ingredients are good (no corn syrup, no antibiotics, etc.), they have free ice cream, organic milk and juice and they also have interesting food options for adults. There is even a section of the salad bar that is complementary. Good serving meals with drinks and dessert for two all under $15. The penne pasta with meatballs was friendly and so was the muffuletta, but their chicken chili salad and the baked potatoes they have are pretty good.
I've been searching for a good lunch spot around town, and this is it! Very friendly staff, quick service (despite it being peak lunch time rush! , and absolutely delicious food. I had the turkey muffaletta and tomato basil soup. The soup had an excellent basil-to-soup ratio, and the muffaletta was toasted to perfection. Their prices are very fair for what you get (about $9 for the muffaletta special which comes with the soup and chips . This will definitely be where I go for lunch from now on.
The best all-you-can-eat salad bar in the country, hands down. Organic greens, organic potatoes, organic apples, almonds, walnuts, cranberries, hummus, extra virgin olive oil, aged balsamic... all there, and for under $10. You pay $10 for half a plate of salad like this at Whole Foods. And for a pleasure, help yourself to the soft serving machine and mini muffins.
