I have been vegetarian for 40 years, my children are vegan. was that rassist or vegist? wow, didn't stay!
Sweet little cafe that is close to the Fringe's troop, but miles away from its pace. Very relaxing for a cup of tea
Small selection of vegan foods. I ordered a flower flower cucus, which was in order.
A lot of Pavilion Café’s menu rotates on the specials board, but there are always a good few options for vegans. Expect wraps with fillings such as falafel and roast vegetables, vegan-friendly soups of the day, mezzes, salads and more. On the sweet side of things, they are supplied by gluten-free bakers Gluttony who provide tasty cakes, some of which are suitable for vegans. Their raspberry and coconut cake is a firm favourite of mine. You may also spot their little ice-cream cart outside, which always has a vegan flavour or two. But arguably the biggest selling point of the Pavilion Café is its location. There is a handful of indoor seating for when it rains, but when the sun is out in Edinburgh there really is no better place to be than their outdoor terrace on the Meadows.
This is the place to go on a sunny day in Edinburgh. You can sit on the meadows and enjoy their great and home made wraps (falafel or roast veggies) and they also have nice drinks. The food tastes amazing and is always freshly prepared.
