After they explained what bread they had to sell and what they offer, I stayed in for a snack and a hot chocolate. Spoke to the staff to find out everything is freshly baked, the bread is made for all needs and the staff are very professional able as well as knowledgeable on their products. Do not walk past the store, but do go in, you will not be disappointed. I will be going back and highly recommend others do to. They do bread making courses and sell their own flour to customers who wish to make bread at home.
My wife and I were out for a walk yesterday and decided to pop in for a treat having past by on a few occasions. The staff were super friendly and engaging. We only bought a couple of cakes to takeaway as we were in a hurry and they were lovely. The next time we are in the area we will definitely stop for coffee and a snack.
Great food, friendly service and a community bakery! I also attended their bread making course and highly recommend it.
I stumbled across Breadshare on my way back from Portobello Beach. I went in to buy some bread to take home and make lunch, but after seeing their menu I decided to sit in. I had the egg sandwich with spring onions and it was delicious. The food is simple, filling and tasty. The coffee is great too. The man who served me was so welcoming and so is the atmosphere. It's also a non profit organisation so prices are cheaper than other cafes in the area. For the quality of the produce they could easily charge a lot more. They also retail local flour and hold workshops for those wanting to get into bread making!
Do not walk past here please you will be missing out. Bread share gave worked so hard since they opened. They deliver locally too. Beautiful bread and nice and fresh.
