Cafe 1505 - Edinburgh, City of

Lovely cafe and fabulous food (I especially recommend the double chocolate cookie I took off one star because the service was slow and two out three members of staff didn't seem to really know what they were doing. However, they were very polite and we got there in the end. Would definitely return.

Next to the surgeons hall. Good food and helpful staff in a great location.

Another heritage portfolio caffe, with a menu almost identical to the portrait gallery cafe, cafe 1505 has the predominant longer opening times and is somewhat quieter. this could change when the new museum opens. the service is great (you friendly staff,) the selection of food is great and the skorn are some of the best in edinburgh. a welcome addition to this part of the city

I stopped for a quick lunch after visiting the Museum of Surgeons. Staff was very friendly and selections were great. Had the tomato soup which was delicious!
