I love the friendly all-female staff who work hard and fast to tasty nosh served with love. they are all good fun and for a chat, and they create delicious hearty breakfast. as well as rich, smooth coffee. thanks, team!
Was so disappointed by the quality of the food. some bits burned, other bits appeared under boiled and I know that it is Scottland, but does a tattie scone must be deep fried! it was over 35 minutes until we got our food. the order came incompletely. had we had been so hungry by then, we would have left it. kitchen seemed busy with food order. a discount was given for our waiting and the staff was friendly enough. will not be back and would not recommend it.
We visited here twice for breakfast during a recent stay in the hotel malmaison. the staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. We'll be back next time we're in the opposite. we will also remember asking for a roll and not. a sandwich
The breakfast of the clock filled a hole, but that's all it really did. the breakfast really came fast, so it was obvious that the items were not freshly cooked. the square sausage was dry, the left sausage actually looked undercooked, the haggis was soggy and eier unfortunately... overcooked everything was lukewarm. the tattoo screen and the speck were decent enough. the personal was beautiful and attentive. I try to support local businesses, but unfortunately I will try to find a complete Scottish elsewhere next time.
My wife and I went for breakfast here this morning. Not only was it the worst breakfast that we’ve had in Scotland, it’s the worst breakfast that I’ve ever had anywhere. The coffee was cold; the food was cold and the premises were colder than...cold. We were served by a nervous young man who was reasonably pleasant. The cost of our breakfast was absolutely outrageous. If I’m ever back in Leith, I won’t be having breakfast here. M.
