I went with my friend to eat some late snacks. I got nice chicken pakora salad and fish and chips which was good as well.

It's been a while since I bought anything from Deep Sea but given its location, I expect it to be a good advert for Edinburgh. The chips were fine but the two individuals serving gave the impression they knew nothing about running a chip shop. Just a gut feeling but a proven one.

Orders were1 king rib supper and 1 rump steak. Rump steak was delicious my wife said. But chips were hard. And I said my chips were hard also and my king rib was not a king rib it was a sausage roll in batter. She tasted it also said yes sausage in that not king rib. So beware. Cheap imitations discusted with the king rib and chips.

Wanted to try a fish supper in Edinburgh. Chips were fine. Fish had been sitting under the glass counter for who knows how long, was hard and more batter than fish. Ain't going back.
