During my recent trip to Edinburgh, I visited this restaurant with my best friend. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very friendly. I started with a lemonade before sharing five appetizers and two main courses: roasted duck in a tangy lemon sauce and a sweeter, more sour duck dish. The bang bang cauliflower appetizer was fine, but it took over an hour for our appetizers to arrive. While I enjoyed them all, I found the sauces to be a bit overpowering. I would consider returning, as the fried eggplant was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the duck sauce, which left me feeling a little too full. Overall, it was a good experience.
During my recent trip to Edinburgh, I visited this restaurant with my best friend. The location was pleasant and the staff were exceptionally friendly. We ordered lemonade, mixed appetizers, and two main courses to share: roasted duck in lemon sauce and chicken with sweet and sour sauce. We were served prawn crackers as a complimentary starter, which was okay. However, it took over an hour to receive our appetizers, which was quite a long wait. Although I enjoyed all the dishes, I found the sauces to be a bit overpowering. Next time, I would request rice to complement the flavors. The fried egg rice was delicious, but I wasn't a fan of the duck sauce, as it was too heavy for my taste. The chicken was average in my opinion. The pricing was reasonable. As a gesture for the delayed appetizers, we were offered a dessert, which was unexpected but enjoyable. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, but I would not consider it the best Chinese restaurant in town.
I was impressed with Feast. I was delighted with both dishes they served me and enjoyed the assured service
