Found the burgers we had no flavour in the meat patties at all. Also £4.95 for a portion of fries, the Australian sever laughed when I commented on the prices. Very disappointed
Burgers were dry. Hard to do when using thighs. Portions were decent. £85 for 3 chicken burgers and sides. 3 cocktails 1 of which was a mock tail for the kid. Plus 1 pint. cocktails were very poor for the price of them.. Don’t think we will be back.
Drinks were nice and delicious, though it was a little loud and rushed. But this may depend on where you sit.
We managed to get a table in the Lioness for food and drinks before The Proclaimers gig on Leith Links, what a great start to a great day. The food was awesome (I had to climb to the top of my grilled chicken chilli nachos to get started) and the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. Locals popped in for a short coffee, the staff were very good, nothing too much trouble, now there’s even a tram stop 2 minutes away, I’d highly recommend a day out in Leith, with the Lioness first port of call.
