The food at this restaurant was delicious and the service was quick, however, there was an issue with the price of a shot that I ordered. Despite showing the bartender my receipt and the price on the menu, I was only offered an apology without a refund or alternative. I was disappointed with this situation, especially since my boyfriend received a refund immediately when he raised a similar issue. Very frustrating experience overall.

The manager of this restaurant is unprofessional and rude. I visited with 10 friends on a Saturday afternoon and had a good time until the manager, who claimed to be the owner, became confrontational and handled a situation poorly. We were accused of causing trouble when in fact we were not. We decided to leave after spending 4 hours there and will not be returning. I recommend avoiding this place and trying the Fountain Pub across the road instead, which is much more welcoming.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this restaurant a few years ago and we were very impressed with the food, drinks, and staff. The music selection is always fantastic and diverse, they have a pool table, and the service is excellent. We have been regulars ever since and it is a charming pub. We often visit with friends because the prices are very reasonable, and after a few drinks, we can go play laser tag or mini golf at Fountain Park.

As we regularly use the Flaming Grill chain at home and had previously visited here when staying in Edinburgh on our last visit at Easter we again travelled a little out of the city to Fountain Park to have a couple of evening meals here. The food and drinks are good value and quality, and it is very easy to get to on one of the Lothian Buses from Princes Street, which drops you off just across the road from the restaurant. We were again not disappointed at all with this establishment. The staff on arrival at the bar are very welcoming (tall man on both nights sorry did not get your name) and also those serving the food (again apologies for not noting names) . It was a while since our last visit but have to say the food was served in a timely manner and was really lovely so without any hesitation we will definitely be back on our next visit to Edinburgh.

I was at an event. I needed to have my dinner but I was told that the kitchen was closed (at 20.50 on Friday night! . The staff didn’t give me any alternatives so I sorted my problem by taking a takeaway pizza next door. The staff block me when I get back with my pizza and invite me to eat outside (outside: 6 C .
