Nice and cosy interior, the staff is extra nice and also the people you get to meet here good beer and good food with great friendly staff

Went here for our family Christmas dinner. Fantastic meal and fantastic service. The staff were so friendly. The chef also needs some recognition as the food was perfect. Will definitely be back.

Service good However food was poor and lacked imagination. Half chicken dry, chicken burger dull, puddings seemed mass cooked

This was by far the best place that I have ever eaten any food. My partner and I went to The Salisbury Arms yesterday evening for a meal and it was absolutely incredible. Our server Mia bought us some water and then proceeded to get us drinks and our food ordered promptly. The king prawn and feta starter was delicious. My partner had the pie and I had the chicken. Unfortunately, we did not have room for dessert. We will be back if we come to Edinburgh again.

We live very close by so have visited multiple times over the last year, and even ordered through Deliveroo sometimes the food is excellent and other times it's average. Recently it's been more on the average/poor side unfortunately. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are also lovely. I just wish it was more consistent I hesitate to bring visiting family members here, incase we drop in on a bad day! They have a great menu selection, and free parking is a bonus. We generally go for the fillet steak which is tasty and well cooked. We'll continue to visit in the hopes that things will improve!
