Shakespeare - Edinburgh, City of

I stopped by this restaurant to catch a game and have a quick drink. Unfortunately, all three beers I wanted to try were unavailable. The staff was friendly, but appeared to be new and inexperienced.

Came across this place while on a recent holiday to our beautiful capital city! Walked in and it was so lovely and welcoming, and clean! (Can't say the same for the Spoons down the street! We were greeted with hellos and smiles from all the staff. After browsing the menu and not being able to decide what to have between their scampi and chips and homemade steak pie and chips, our server I think her name was Ashley but I'm horrible with names suggest we get one each and then we could taste each others! Such an amazing idea and omg, we were not disappointed!! Loads of meat in the steak pie and it just melted in my mouth! Definitely be making this a regular thing when we come back to Edinburgh! Thanks to everyone involved!

We were looking for a comfortable pub with a relaxing atmosphere, good “bar” food and robust beer selection and this was the perfect place for us. The service was good and the staff friendly.

The restaurant offers generous portions at a reasonable price in a comfortable setting! The staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere is pleasant.

We tried Big Fish Chips, it was very large and i couldn't even finish 1 piece. It tasted good but not the best. Also we tried the half roasted chicken. It was also not the best as the chicken was not juicy. Need to be a bit marinated. But the place looked good. Staff were friendly somehow.
